02-10-2022: Authentise acquired Elements
The provider of the self-serve workflow tools for manufacturing
On February 10, 2022, Authentise—a developer of data-driven workflow software for additive manufacturing—acquired all shares of the Elements Technology platform, the provider of self-serve workflow tools for manufacturing. As part of the transaction, the Elements team joined Authentise.
The merger of both companies and their platforms created a unique combination of workflow management tools, real-time machine data insights, AI technology, RFID, and more. Elements provided users with a unique self-serve tool for all types of manufacturing operations, enabling the quick creation, registration, and access to repeatable production processes.
By offering intelligent production planning and scheduling, along with real-time monitoring, Elements allowed for comprehensive order tracking. The services developed by Elements have become a key part of Authentise’s combined portfolio.
Even before acquiring Elements, Authentise was able to deliver significant efficiency savings, reducing order management time by 80% and production preparation time by over 95%.
Authentise was founded in 2012 by Andre Wegner, who serves as the company’s CEO. The company is headquartered in Philadelphia, USA, but operates multiple offices worldwide.
Its platform, known as Flows, enables the planning, management, execution, and tracking of engineering and manufacturing operations, allowing for process automation and reduced production cycles. The company also offers the Digital Design Warehouse module, which facilitates the management of digital spare parts and additive manufacturing initiatives in one centralized location.
Authentise collaborates with leading companies such as Boeing, Ricoh, and Danfoss. The company places a strong emphasis on data security, adhering to the highest industry standards in cybersecurity.
Elements Technology was founded in early 2018 by Joe Handsaker. In its first year, Peter Harding joined as co-founder and CTO. Harding continues to work at Authentise, while Handsaker has pursued a different career path.
