Atomic Layer of the Day:
This is not a sponsored newsletter - this is an admiration newsletter.
Italy-based Breton - self proclaimed pioneer in the development of advanced technologies and materials, revealed a spectacular kitchen design, created in LFAM technology. The base material was recycled PET reinforced with 30% fiberglass.
The kitchen - or rather the main kitchen module, had an impressive size of 3,000 x 1,000 x 900 mm and weighed 450 kg. And now the most important thing - the production time. Only 23 hours! If you wanted to make such a project from wood - not to mention plastic, this is a cosmic speed.
The module has been finished very aesthetically with frosted plexiglass. Even if you are a 3D printing expert, it would take you a moment to discover that this project was created using AM technology.

You gonna love this… “China is set to overtake the US in high-tech and advanced military manufacturing by 2035”, the prominent Chinese strategist Lu Yongxiang has written in the Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering. He added that “US’ competitive edge in these industries was diminishing”, and described the decline in global demand for US-made tech and military products as “an irreversible trend.”
Not only for military high tech, I think China already exceeding western OEM in metal additive business. China machine is still underrated due to political reasons and they don’t do technical marketing about what their machine’s advancement. I can’t say they exceed everything. However Many people think some customer choose Chinese machine due to price(yes it is right statement in dental market) but I think they have a lot of technical potential. Western OEM unfortunately has arrogant mindset and those attitude will be end within 2 years. Don’t get me wrong - I am not Chinese.
