Bambu Lab H2D, a giant concrete 3D printer and other AM stuff I saw at 3D Printing Days Show (Kielce, Poland)

Atomic Layer of the Day:
Apologies for the late newsletter, but I've been on road all day. Along with Anna Slusarczyk, I visited Kielce — home to the largest trade fair grounds in Poland. As every year, the "Industrial Spring" trade fair takes place there at the end of March, dedicated to a wide spectrum of manufacturing industries.
One of the many events forming the Industrial Spring is the 3D Printing Days — the oldest and largest trade show dedicated to AM in Poland.
The first 3D Printing Days took place in July 2013, and it was just a small, intimate gathering of RepRap enthusiasts and a few desktop 3D printer distributors. A year later, in March 2014, the event moved to the Kielce Trade Fair. For a while, it was held twice a year, which is why the current edition is number 17, even though the event has been running for 12 years.
In the past, it was a truly spectacular event — today, it is more intimate and occupies only half of one exhibition hall (there are eight in total). Additionally, there are fewer AM companies in Poland interested in exhibiting; the number of manufacturers has decreased, and many trading companies have moved their operations online. However, most of the major players still appear in Kielce.
For my international readers, the most interesting part might be the premiere of the Bambu Lab H2D at the booth of one of the company's distributors in Poland — Edutech Expert from Warsaw. I took a few photos — forgive the quality, but there was always a crowd around the 3D printer, making it difficult to get close. At times, it felt a bit like a hockey game — a few valuable photos ended up unfortunately blurred.

Another thing that may interest you is this huge concrete 3D printer from the Polish company 3DARTECH. Attention! This is not a 3D printer for printing houses. The people behind this technology are serious and use it for producing prefabricated elements, including reinforced ones. Although the printed samples on display were classic vases, believe me — this company is the real deal!

Another is U-BOT, a company that has been developing large FFF 3D printers for many years — and at really attractive prices.
CadXpert - probably the biggest distributor of 3D printers in Poland, presented a truly diversified portfolio of 3D printers, scanners and services.
ROSA3D — one of the largest filament producers in Poland (and, by extension, one of the largest in Europe). The company showcased a wide range of new products and, on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the ROSA3D brand (the company ROSA PL has been around since 1979!), organized numerous competitions and lotteries for trade fair attendees. By the way, ROSA3D is also a partner of Prusa Research and a distributor of their 3D printers in Poland.

And finally, the man you very likely know from LinkedIn posts about Meltio… My good friend - Tomasz Garniec!
