SYGNIS Vice President resigns without giving a reason
Joanna Danaj was Sygnis CFO and was involved in the upcoming share issue on the stock exchange
Sygnis SA – a Polish company manufacturing proprietary 3D printers for scientific research and the owner of Zmorph brand, announced the resignation of Joanna Danaj from the position of Vice President of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer. The resignation took place with effect from July 19, 2024 - the reasons for it were not indicated.
Danaj is a finance expert with many years of experience. For over ten years she has gained experience in positions in controlling and financial audit departments, including Colgate – Palmolive.
At Sygnis she controlled and optimized costs, was involved in the evaluation of investment projects and conducting economic and financial analyses. Now she has left in very unfavourable circumstances.
Several weeks ago, Sygnis announced that it decided to issue series E shares by private subscription. The company wants to raise PLN 6 million (~EUR 1.4 million) in this way. Recent financial reports indicated that Sygnis was not in the best financial situation.
Sygnis develops the following products and technologies: Syglass - 3D printers for low-temperature glass, DEPO - 3D printing technique of glassy carbon from the gas phase directly to the solid phase, and F-NIS - 3D printing solution for chemical and materials laboratories. The company focuses on the development of 3D printers from the flagship DIW (Direct Ink Writing) line and increasing their sales by expanding the international network of distributors.
